Dr. Noel Casiano, was born and raised in the city of Hartford, CT. A graduate from Hartford Public High School who then went on to get his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Central Connecticut State University. Dr. Casiano then obtained a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy also from Central Connecticut State University and is Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the State of CT. Dr. Casiano then obtained a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. Dr. Casiano is a clinical fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and the chair for the AAMFT National Trauma Interest Network. Dr. Casiano is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
Dr. Casiano has extensive professional experience in systemic treatment approaches to marital and couple’s therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and individual therapy. Types of problems addressed include: Marital and Pre-marital Education, relationship problems, parent-child problems, substance abuse, anxiety, adjustment problems, depression, trauma and abuse, attachment issues, fatherhood engagement and men's issues. Dr. Casiano has a Brain Story Neuroscience Certification from the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative. Most importantly, Dr. Casiano is called to serve his community in order to provide leadership in mental health and substance abuse treatment services.
Dr. Casiano is the Chair of Love-on’s Creative Clinical team which aims to facilitate information and resources which promote emotional, relational, and mental well being, based on the latest research in the field.
