Evelys and her husband Jonathan are co-chairs of the Creative Leadership team of Love-on; a faith-based non-profit organization in Connecticut. Love-on is a means through which the gap between Mental Health and Spirituality is bridged. "To Love-on is to understand that bridging this gap is not about prioritizing Mental Health over Spirituality or vice versa; it’s about the possibility and effectiveness of these coexisting in harmony.” -Caro Bunta
As the creative leadership co-chair, Evelys and the team want to create strategic plans, events and topics that will be necessary to reach those in need. Evelys is dedicated to helping those who have no voice or have been forgotten. She is passionate about working and developing programs that will reach out into the community and empower the lives of individuals from young to old. She believes that God had called everyone to reach out to one another beyond the four walls of the church.
Evelys believes that Love-on is an opportunity for the community to see what God has for them. There will be many who will be able to support the organization with their gifts and talents As well. Where there is a willing spirit, there is a way. God will open doors to promote healthy change and growth and Evelys’ personal, professional and ministerial experiences will help in this matter.
