In the past 5 years, Brian's life took a different turn into working closely with adolescents to young adults whether at his current job as a high school college prep teacher, coordinating Sunday youth classes at his church, or mentoring college students from his UConn chapter of Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. He never thought that he would find himself working in education but it has taught him valuable insights such as how to work with and understand these upcoming generations. He is currently pursuing his master's in higher education and student affairs from CCSU. In addition, Brian from personal experience and working with various youth groups has recognized mental health to be a growing issue in our urban communities. He is excited to be a part of Love-On's movement. It will provide the opportunity to have a conversation on mental health and faith to help uncover how both of them are connected and even as a person of faith to know that mental health is something real.
